Absolutely fantastic little tea room. We always make a point of stopping if we are anywhere in the vicinity. Always made to feel welcome and never disappointed with the food and service. Added bonus if you like antiques.

We discovered this wonderful cafe on a trip to Clare today. What a gem for the village. They serve the nicest coffee and the food was of great quality and delicious. The mismatched crockery and cutlery added such charm, in fact my son especially loved his little knife. Friendly service from two very happy ladies. Highly recommend.

I’ve been coming for breakfast on Saturdays for over a year now - it’s become a second home! I always receive the most welcoming and friendly service and the Full English breakfast goes down a treat after a park run in country park! I bring friends in whenever they visit and they always enjoy it.

A delightful venue, with friendly chatty staff (should you want to be sociable) as well as good value food. The English breakfast was fab! The Trading Post itself offers a quirky range of memorabilia and collectables.

A wonderful find in the depths of the Suffolk countryside; akin to visiting a friends house, the feeling of ease & comfort is unique and most welcome. Witnessed a couple of ladies (they may identify as goats, I didn’t ask) not wanting to pay their full bill, arguing about half a tomato or beans and some such trivialities and how they should have a substantial discount for that…they choose not to have tomatoes and wanted £’s off the bill. The grace & poise of the proprietor was like a Jesus soothing angry Romans who knew not what they were bothered about, seeking someone to blame for both their bad moods, and somewhat obvious poor life choices. Can not recommend this place highly enough. A joy.
